A Church for All Nations

If you believe the Lord is dealing with your heart about becoming a member of World Harvest North Cyber Church, then we welcome you and ask that you read over the following scripture and guidelines.

John 3:3-7, Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ NKJV

The prerequisite of becoming a member of the body of Christ and WHNCC is to be born again by the Spirit of God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is through our faith in Jesus as the Son of God that we gain access into the saving grace of God. As a believer in Christ, you have also become a member of His body through the Holy Spirit within you. We are the family of God.

1 Corinthians 12 : 12 – 19, For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body — whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free — and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. NKJV

Through the death of Christ and the power of His Spirit, we have become members of one body- the body of Christ.

(Romans 6: 1 – 8, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. NKJV)

When someone accepts Christ as their personal Savior, their new life isn’t lived based on the will of the old man according to nature of the flesh; it is now lived out according to the will of God in Christ. Therefore, this brand new life in Christ will require believers to place their faith in God’s Word for daily instruction and direction.

2 Corinthians 5:14-20, For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if one died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. (NKJV)

In Amos 3, we are told about the importance of unity and agreement. In order for us to walk together, we must be in agreement. You can learn more about our tenets of faith and core values at http://www.whcnorth.org/about.html

The Purpose of WHNCC:

The Lord has authorized His ministers to be a spiritual covering for His people. As leaders in the body of Christ and servants of God, Jesus has given His ministers the authority to pray for and equip His saints, and to defeat and destroy the works of the Devil in their own lives. We are also called to empower believers to live in victory and to fulfill their kingdom assignment on earth as God’s ambassadors.

Ephesians 4 : 11 – 16, And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ — from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. NKJV

When you become a member of WHNCC, you are joining forces with the faith of many other believers. We’re told in Daniel that one can chase a thousand and two can put ten thousand to flight. Jesus also teaches us in Matthew 16 on the principle of kingdom authority through agreement in faith.

The Lord has given World Harvest Church North a mandate to “Adorn the Bride of Christ.” This simply means that God has equipped us to fulfill the Great Commission which is to make disciples of all nations. Although we lead many to the saving knowledge of Christ, much of our focus is centered on those who have already accepted Jesus as their personal Savior.

The purpose of WHNCC is to train believers to walk according to the teachings of Christ. As we continue steadfastly in His Word, He has promised that we would come to know the truth; and it will make us free. Paul also teaches us in his epistles that the just shall live by faith. Consequently, now that we have placed our faith in Christ, we must adhere to God’s Word in order to fulfill this requirement.

Therefore, we have the responsibility to train and to equip believers from all walks of life in the Word of God so that they might become who God has ordained them to be in Christ. We’re told in Hosea 4 that God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge of the truth (Italics added for clarity). In order for Christians to be able to withstand the strategies of the Devil, they must become disciples of God’s Word.

It is also our purpose to encourage Christians in their walk of faith so that they discover their new identity in Christ. Much of learning about our spiritual identity is found through our devotion to Jesus and our service to the body as servants of Christ. Jesus taught His disciples to serve one another. He told them the greatest among us is the servant of all.

John 13 : 12 – 17, So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. NKJV

WHNCC combines discipleship with servant-hood in order to lead believers into a deeper and richer understanding of the teachings of Christ. Through these principles, we are able to fulfill the Great Commission as well as the law of Christ, which is to love one another and to bear one another burdens.

WHNCC’s Member Responsibilities:

Even though you may be in another state or country, you will be able to share in both the work and harvest of WHNCC. Thus far, you have learned the scriptures and the methods that are used by this church to bring believers into all that God has prepared for those who love Him. As a member, you are now in your position where, in Christ, and you can carry out the plan and purpose that God has ordained for your life.

Ephesians 2: 4 – 10, But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. NKJV

As a member of the body of Christ and WHNCC, Jesus gives specific instructions that all of us are to fulfill consistently. We ask that you support the global vision of this church through your giving (Matthew 6:2), through your prayers (Matthew 6:5), and finally through your fasting (Matthew 6:16) Jesus does not give us an option when it comes to our giving, prayer-life, or fasting. These are required to ensure the longevity and fruitfulness of a local fellowship or move of God and to usher in the work of the Kingdom of God in the entire world.

Finally, the Lord will bless His children as He did the children of Israel as we honor and obey His commands, statutes, and judgments. God has promised to bless us so that we may be a blessing to all.

Numbers 6:24-26,  “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” NKJV

As a member of WHNCC, you will be covered in our prayers through intercession. You will be taught the principles of life from the Word of God, and you will be a part of a move of God that is called to reach and equip believers from around the world.
